I've moved my blogs and notes to my website, trying to consolidate everythiing. The short notes are in my Thinking Aloud blog. The writing posts are in My Kitchen Table, and the spiritual posts are in My Faith Zone--all of which are on www.vickihinze.com

Need to make tracks on the WIP today It's going well, but I'm not satisfied it's ready. More polish required. With all going on, I need to get this one done and in--but it must be right! There's the rub. I heard from Noah's father via email. He's doing about as well as can be expected and asked to be put on the prayer list. I hope others are adding him to theirs, too. Losing a child is crippling and the wounds run so deep. Bless their hearts.

Noah's funeral was yesterday and my thoughts have been on his father, Jason, and his family. They've been on grief and mourning and the lessons learned in loss. Been there, done that. Hurt badly. But there is healing on the other side of grief, and wisdom gleaned from the journey through it. I hope that journey is brief and rich for Jason and his family, and that Noah's legacy, Noah's Journey, a program that will benefit millions of kids, helps them get to the other side with little bitterness and much love. Today, my heart aches that they're on this journey...
