So I go on.Hazel loved the mac&cheese. She never sounded like a parrot but rather a young girl.I started leaving the cage door open but had a real issue with her. She would come out charging. I would have to towel her to get her back in.One day she took a huge bite from my arm & another day she bit my foot and didn't want to let go.After about 6 months she learned that she owned the cage&could play in or on top,not off.Her screams subsided. She became healthier & quieter& liked to watch the aviary movie in a loop that my friend Mia sent. She would tell my husband "shut up!"when she wanted the tv off.She still screamed when Gizmo was out& was very aggressive toward him. But, she was not the same bird.No longer aggressive toward people she was submissive. She came out and played & I could place treats on the cage. She allowed me to clean the cage w/out charging me.I could touch her talons & she wouldn't lunge for me.Hazel was a new girl! Next, the neighbor & where's the girl?
