Hazel had been with us a year when a new neighbor moved in.It had been a balmy week & I slid Hazel's cage out on the deck every morning so she could enjoy the fresh air.She chattered away in her mumbling voice.I had had her a few weeks when she had yelled "Help,help,let me out!" I had thought my daughter was home & was stuck.Icame running out& called Heather.No answer.Called again.No answer.Then she yelled again..then laughed when I came back in the room.So that is the game Hazel played.I was used to itby now.So Hazel was outside practicing her sounds when she yelled "mom..Mom!".I came¬iced the cat had snuck out & was trying to get inside!A few days later I was outside planting when the new neighbor started asking me questions.I answered cheerfully when she asked about my daughter.I said "oh,how did you know?"She said that she hears here often& heard her earlier.I said"not my daughter;she lives/works half hour away & hasn't been home in a cpl weeks.She got a very strange look......
