In the year 1200 AD on the Earth's Christian calender, the planet Triton was experiencing an environmental calamity that very nearly brought life on the planet to extinction. A man claiming to have a message from God presented a plan to save the world. Triton's leaders ignored him.. He suffered great tribulations and he began to build a small following but time was running short. Those who lived by the oceans experienced rising tides, great storms and huge tidal waves. Those who moved inland faired only a little better as the atmosphere began to heat up and the deserts began to expand. Somehow many of the Tritons survived and they began to take seriously the importance of being the caretakers of nature. They formed a great council to govern the all the regions of Triton.
