Today is my Father's Birthday. He passed away 6 years ago. I miss him so. He taught me so much. He believed in miracles. He is proof that they really do happen. He showed me many miracles. He was a simple man. A good man. A real man. Because of him, I believe in miracles. They are real and they really happen. I am enjoying the simple things in life today. With a cup of coffee I look out across the world and smile a peaceful smile. I say "Thank you for showing me miracles" to my Dad, and until we are together again, I say, "Happy Birthday!" Life itself is a miracle. I hope this for whoever reads this: "May you discover your miracle today and... have yourself a simply real and peaceful day!"

It's my birthday! I worked in the yard a while today, planting tulips. Hope they make it till next year. Then I went to Morganton and helped mom switch her Sunday School classroom. Then we went to the greenway for a walk. I pushed aunt Mae in a wheel chair. Then we went to Outback for my second birthday dinner! I left miserable.
